Description
The UK coastline is one of the most beautiful in Europe and has a huge number of sailing towns that range from rocky and scenic to stylish destinations known to visitors from around the world. You just can’t beat the rugged cliffs and lush green landscape of England, which is unofficially the ‘home of sailing’ and it has a long and glorious tradition of boat building and for rearing fine sailors. And while Snowdonia (Eryri) is famous for it’s epic mountains and Wales’s highest peaks – the region has a softer side too, with foothills full of wilderness and it’s coast dotted with long sandy beaches. Established land and seascape painter Ric W. Horner has created many atmospheric paintings of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), the Cornish coast over the past 20 years, many of them also showcasing stunning tranquil beaches, stormy seas and rugged cliffs.
